In March, a new stop along the Western North Carolina Fly Fishing Trail will be Tuckaseegee Fly Shop, Sylva ! Tuck Fly Shop is opening a second location in Sylva! We are thrilled with this opportunity to bring to Sylva the great brands of the fly fishing industry, and more importantly, that honest and friendly customer service you have come to know. The Tuck Fly Shop team has already been working on the location at 530 West Main Street Sylva and will be open in March. We are busy building fixtures, with repurposed wood, updating orders, and very soon stocking. The product selections will be similar but expect to see some new offerings in both locations.
Sylva and Jackson County have a storied fly fishing tradition similarly to that of Bryson City. Besides the Tuckasegee, Jackson County offers places like Scott Creek, Caney Fork, Moses Creek, Rough Butt, and the wildness of Panthertown.
Along with this news we are offering a discount on guided trips. Just like last year, if you book from now 1/18/17 to the end of February for your trip, reference this offer and receive 10% off. We appreciate all the folks we have met in the Bryson City location, and look forward to seeing many of those folks in Sylva while meeting new faces as well.
