TUCKASEEGEE FLY SHOP >>

Tuckaseegee Fly Shop, with locations in both downtown Bryson City and Sylva, NC, is proud of our commitment to provide great customer service, and quality fly fishing gear and products.

The Fly Shop is just minutes from great fishing.  We are close to some of the best waters in the southeast.  With fisheries like the Tuckasegee River, Nantahala River, Oconaluftee River, Ravens Fork, Great Smoky Mountain National Park, Fontana Lake, and many more, you have plenty of options for the kind of fishing you are looking for.  If you are unfamilar with the area, a guided trip may be the best option.  Our guides have been fishing the waters of Western North Carolina and The Great Smoky Mountain National Park for years, and pride themselves in teaching and growing the sport of fly fishing.

This area of North Carolina provides a diverse fishing habitat. Within a 30 minute drive you can have the opportunity to fish for: Brown Trout, Rainbow Trout, Brook Trout, Palomino Trout, Steelhead, Smallmouth Bass, Largemouth Bass, White Bass, Kentucky Spotted Bass, Walleye, Muskie, Crappie, Bluegill, Yellow Perch, Flathead Catfish, Channel Catfish, and Carp.  With so many species and different types of water to fish, you can have a trip like no other in the southeast.

We carry products for both traditional and fly fishing anglers from vendors like: Simms, Umpqua, Waterworks-Lamson Reels, Sage, Fishpond, Rio, Redington, Thomas & Thomas, Smith Sunglasses, Echo Fly Rods, Airflo Fly Lines, Scott Fly Rods, Rep Your Water, TFO Fly Rods, TroutHunter, Flood Tide Apparel, Crooked Creek Holler Apparel, Scientific Angler, Montana Fly Company, Wapsi, Hareline, Simms Logo Apparel, and our very own Tuckaseegee Fly Shop logo hats and shirts.  We also offer custom fly rods crafted by Jim Mills, and locally tied flies by James Conner.

Come by, visit our shops, the great towns of Bryson City and Sylva, and spend some time in The Great Smoky Mountain National Park.  We love to talk fishing and continue to learn the craft, so bring your best stories and we will share ours.
