Montana Dates Announced

The Pilgrimage

Montana, they call it Big Sky Country for a reason. As the aircraft approaches Bozeman airport, the 2.5 billion year old Bridger Mountain Range calls to your inner soul welcoming you to Big Sky Country just like they welcomed explorers of the past. As the tires touch the tarmac you will be overtaken by emotions in advance of the fly fishing adventure of a lifetime as you prepare to chase some of Mother Nature's most beautiful Cutthroat, Rainbow, and Brown Trout. Welcome to the epicenter of fly fishing, Big Sky Country, Bozeman Montana.

... "One great thing about fly fishing is that after a while nothing exists of the world but thoughts about fly fishing"

-Norman Mclean

For a second season Tuckaseegee Fly Shop is hosting a Montana Fly Fishing Experience of Yellowstone Proportions. A partnership forged on the waters of the Madison River, Big Sky Anglers and Tuckaseegee Fly Shop join together with one goal. We desire to help you experience Montana Fly Fishing the way it should be! An epic experience with the only worry setting the hook on numerous Cutthroat, Rainbow, and Brown Trout while surrounded by meadows and the beautiful, western sky. Let your Tuckaseegee Fly Shop host, along with the excellent staff at Big Sky Anglers lead you to some of the most amazing waters located in some of the most amazing land you will step foot on.

Upon arrival at Bozeman International Airport, we are eagerly greeted by the Big Sky Anglers Staff and a rental car which is pre-arranged for our group. This is followed by an amazing tour of the Simms manufacturing facility, where you can see the entire, painstaking, process of wader manufacturing from the only company still hand crafting waders in the United States. After our tour, a scenic drive delivers us to West Yellowstone, where a welcome dinner and reception is prepared for us at Big Sky Anglers Shop. Lodging accommodations, associated with Big Sky Anglers, are only a block away from all the excitement and beauty West Yellowstone beholds.

In 2019, we have two trips options for up to 5 guests each trip. The first trip option (A) consists of 3 days of fly fishing, while the second trip option (B) consist of 5 days of fly fishing. Lunch is provided on all the full day trips, but breakfast and dinner are not included, and are the responsibility of the guests individually. We typically meet for breakfast in town before our day of fishing and get together again at the end of the day for dinner.
