Its March?!

Wow! We celebrated 2018 and the next thing I know its March and its almost half over. SO. With that being said, the fishing is great and the weather doesn't know if it wants spring or more winter. We have had a few early morning snow showers off and on over the last week, but we are going to see a warming trend moving ahead.

Hatches are kicking off a little bit ahead of schedule despite the recent dip in temperatures. March Browns are showing up along with the resident Blue Winged Olives. Even seeing a few sulphurs popping out in the small creeks on warmer afternoons.

Guided Trips on the Tuckaseegee are having incredible outings with trophy fish landed at a consistent rate and caught on all tactics. Still some availability for April and May which are peak months for numbers and size of fish for the spring.

We are excited to welcome Nick Johnson and Gordon Bailey to the TFS Team. These are great guides on the water and know their stuff when it comes to the shop and getting you set up for a great day on your own.
