Veterans Day Report 11/11
First off, Happy Veterans Day, and a big THANK YOU to those who have served. Because of that sacrifice we all get to enjoy many freedoms. One of those of course is fly fishing.
In typical fashion of the last few years, November is once again fishing better than October. The weather outlook looks pretty stable moving forward and should set up the Thanksgiving Holiday as one of the best for fishing among previous years. All Delayed Harvest waters are fishing outstanding with trophy fish being netted on just about all trips. Favorite flies for these November fish are as follows: Eagan's Dart, Coffey Girdle Bug, Bitch Creek, Frenchie, Pheasant tail with Pink/Yellow Hot spot, Rubber Legged Copper John, and the Squirmy Wormy.
Trips along the Bryson City DH are reporting catches of mostly Brown Trout. But be ready for that rainbow, we haven't caught many small ones!
Tight Lines!
