Fishing Report 10/4/17

Well, Delayed Harvest rules are back in effect and catch and release fly fishing is getting into full swing. The section from Webster downstream to Dillsboro recieved its fished yesterday, and anglers are reporting large fish of all three stocked species. Bryson City DH waters will be stocked today, Nantahala - Monday.

Effective bugs have predominately been wooly buggers, dead squirrels, and other junk food patterns. These fish are still learning what a nymph is and it will take a couple weeks for them to get smart. Give us a call to get on the water or for the latest up to the minute info!
