GUIDED FLY FISHING FLOAT TRIPS
At times, wading can present limits to angler access and coverage of pristine trout and smallmouth fly fishing. Floating the Tuckaseegee River, Little Tennessee river, and Nantahala River Tail Race bring the angler in contact with world-class fly fishing for trophy trout and smallies. With the typical float trip lasting 8 hours, it is a great way to see and fish miles of a river in one trip.
The trip starts at the Fly Shop, where we introduce you to your guide for the day, and outfit you with fly fishing gear and a fly rod. Lunch is provided and anglers can enjoy beverages complimentary of Nantahala Brewing Company. Once we have all gear, lunches, and anglers loaded up we head out to the river you will be fishing. Weather and season will determine where you will be fishing, but if you have a particular place you would like to fish, we will try to accommodate your request.
The things recommended to bring are sunscreen, hat or visor, polarized sunglasses, comfortable weather appropriate clothing, NC Fishing License and we'll take care of the rest.
