March Has Arrived!

And today the Upper Nantahala DH is receiving its first stocking of 2015! March 4th for the Tuck and 6th for Snowbird! Yesterday the temperature here in Bryson City was getting closer and closer to 70 before the sun began its decent. This was a teaser for whats to come.

In planning your trip up here make sure you prepare for many weather elements. March is the most unpredicatble time period for weather in the mountains. Just as quick as highs reach 70 it can be snowing that night or the next day. The saying goes "wait 5 minutes and the weather will change."
