3rd Annual Smoky Mountain Fly Fishing Festival

Come out to Bryson City on October 7th to celebrate the fly fishing heritage of Swain County and experience the many opportunities that our mountains have to offer. With over 2,200 miles of trout streams, it's no wonder that Swain County is the Fly Fishing Capital of the South!

This has been a great event in the past and it continues to grow each year, so for those of you who haven't attended before we invite you to come see what the Smokies have to offer! There will be representatives from major industry brands showcasing their latest and greatest products, members of Fly Fishers International will be holding a casting clinic, local Trout Unlimited groups will be present, and so much more! Our prime location in downtown Bryson City will also give attendees the opportunity to fish the new Delayed Harvest section of the Tuckaseegee River!
